In 2008, he was employed at KBC Zvezdara, working at the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. He completed his specialization in internal medicine in 2014 and subspecialized in gastroenterology in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>In 2015, Dr. Sr\u0111an Markovi\u0107 started working as a clinical assistant for Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Department of Internal Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade. He excelled as a mentor for several student theses.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Sr\u0111an Markovi\u0107 is the author and co-author of several professional papers published in scientific journals, as well as presented at domestic and foreign congresses.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text]He has won national and international awards for several works, and is actively engaged as a research associate in the project &#8220;Evaluation and Possibilities of Improving the Treatment of Patients with Rectal Cancer&#8221; of the Ministry of Science of the Republic of Serbia, led by Professor Dr. Zoran Krivokapi\u0107.<\/p>\n<p>In May 2016, he received the &#8220;Prof. Dr. Obren Popovi\u0107&#8221; Award for his successful scientific and professional work in the field of gastroenterology.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Markovi\u0107 is constantly working to improve his knowledge and skills through clinical work and education in Serbia and abroad, primarily in France.
