Dr. Srđan Marković is a specialist in internal medicine and gastroenterology who lives and works in Belgrade. During his undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade, he proved to be an outstanding student with excellent results, earning scholarships and authoring three scientific research papers. After completing his studies, Dr. Marković participated in a European project as a researcher-trainee at the Institute for Medical Research at the University of Belgrade.
Dr. Marković is constantly working to improve his knowledge and skills, both through clinical work and continuing education, both in Serbia and abroad. In 2011, he spent time at the Institute for Medical Research in Paris, France, where he focused on microsatellite instability in oncology.

The Association of Patients with Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis of Serbia was founded in 2010 and has been a part of the European Federation of Crohn's and Ulcerative Colitis Associations (EFCCA) since its establishment.
After being diagnosed with Crohn's disease, I was extremely shaken and scared. However, with the help of Dr. Srđan Marković, everything fell into place, and I have been in remission for several years now. I am hopeful that it will stay that way. Thank you so much!
